PeaceforPAris[1]Le Conseil d’administration de la SFAR souhaite adresser un mot de soutien et de remerciement aux équipes d’Anesthésie-Réanimation, du Samu mais aussi à nos autres collègues, qui ont été mobilisés tout le week-end pour tenter de sauver des vies. Des vies innocentes blessées aveuglement, lâchement, lors des attentats du 13 novembre 2015.

La SFAR tient également à exprimer ses sincères condoléances et ses pensées les plus émues aux familles et amis de ceux qui ont perdu la vie.

Dans le même temps, nous voulions partager avec vous les messages de soutien que nous avons reçus.

Nous sommes atterrés par l’horreur qu’a vécu la merveilleuse Paris.

Cette horreur incompréhensible, a été perpétrée par des assassins, qui tuent partout, au nom d’une religion qui prône la paix et l’amour d’autrui.

Ayant été victimes d’une telle barbarie, nous sentons et comprenons parfaitement la souffrance que connaît la France.

Nous tenons à rendre un vif hommage aux victimes et aux professionnels de la santé, avec qui, plusieurs anesthésistes réanimateurs marocains ont passé une partie de leur formation et ont tissé des relations fraternelles et amicales.
Ces professionnels ont été, au cours de ces événements douloureux, un exemple de courage, d’organisation, de professionnalisme, et de générosité.

Nous sommes de tous cœur avec vous, et vous exprimons, nos condoléances et notre solidarité à l’ensemble du peuple français.

So soon after Beirut, it is shocking and saddening to hear the news that Paris is once again bleeding due to terror in its streets. ESICM stands alongside many countries and organisations around the world in public condemnation of this unnecessary and senseless violence.
At our recent annual congress in Berlin, we distributed bags with an important slogan: “Intensivists Care for Lives”. Today this sentiment stands more true that ever. The intensive care community strongly support all our French colleagues in their vast efforts to try to save the lives of these innocent people injured in the terror attacks.
